It's probably a good idea in general to clean the seeds. These should be pretty easy to germinate, and by cleaning them I'm sure you'll get a higher rate of germination. Depending on how many you have, that may, or may not be important. If you have 10 you may obviously want to clean all 10. If you have 1000, maybe not....

Andy, when you say fibre, do you mean the little stringy bits on the seed, or the fleshy bit that covers the stringy bits. Clean the flesh off, the stringy bits are fine left on. I hope I'm not telling you something you already know. I'm sorry if I am. I just want you to have some success. This species has pinnate leaves from the beginning. A very pretty seedling.
