Hey Frank!

Been a bit. I was wondering you happen to know what hotel that Y. Rostrata is planted at in Sevierville. I would love to take a look at it the next time I am over that way. Please excuse me if I have already asked this question before. Could not remember if I did or did not.

Hey bud!  It used to be at the Days Inn, but it was chainsawed to the ground in 2015 and thrown away, to make room for MORE PARKING LOT!!!  The hotel was remodeled, and apparently nobody there had any damn sense at all to realize what an incredible specimen they had there.  Nothing is permanent!

That sucks!  Wish I could have got to them ahead of time and offered to dig it up.  What are you up to these days?  Have lot of cold hardy stuff including agaves now!  So, if you know anyone that wants unique plants in their landscape, send them my way. Cumberland Plants is the business name.  Thanks!

Yeah, it does suck!  I found out yesterday myself, when I texted a friend who knew about it too.  He said he just happened to be in town that day, and saw it happen.

I'm in Gainesville, FL now!  I can grow a few more palms here than in TN, LOL!
