I recently read about this Ficus species in E. J. H. Corner's texts about Ficus. He wrote " There are several more or less strongly pachycaul species of which the most remarcable is F. salomonensis with the largest leaf of the genus, if not the largest single blade among dicotyledons." (Ficus dammaropsis and the multibracteate species of Ficus sect. Sycocarpus).
