Is there a way to configure the way I view a post so that all of the text can be seen in one screen?  It often happens that the width of the text portion of a message is wider than my screen, and I have to scroll back and forth to read each line.

Jim,

This would probably be a setting on your computer having to do with your resolution and the monitor you are using. There are too many possiblities and diagnostics for me to help via email. Ask a friend you know who is somewhat computer literate, or just try some different display resolutions, as this is most likely the cause.

Be assured, as far as I know most everybody else can view it on one page.

The most likely cause is that someone has included a linked photo somewhere in another post on the page which makes all posts on that page wider than normal.

The easiest solution is to ask whoever is posting the wide photos to resize their photos before linking to messages.

Additionally each viewer can go to their 'Control Panel' settings, choose 'Account Options', and select 'NO' as the option for 'Do you wish to view images in posts, such as smilies and posted images?'.

Then only an image link will show in messages for photos linked to outside sources like Photobucket.

Mike is right that a occasional photo is too large and causes this. However, I try to fix those, so they should be few and far between. If it is happening often, something else is occuring.

Thanks.  I changed the resolution, and the whole width of the posts fit now.
