Thanks. The palms are looking terrific. I was hoping to be there and use my new, better camera.

4 km inland from Indian River; 27º N (equivalent to Brisbane)

Saturday's CFPACS conflicted with the farewell day of our agility trainer. He is such a good guy, a really truly wonderful man, and I'm embarrassed to say that we very much almost forgot to attend his last class....that's how excited we were to attend our first meeting and garden tours. So thank you for posting photos, Central Floridave :wub: ... it is a sweet way to see what we missed! Hoping to shake your hand some day :greenthumb:

Sorry, I'm not sure. They said the 1989 Christmas freeze got down to 19F degrees and wiped out many palms.

I also don't know about the old cracker house. But, that looks like 1880 construction. On the plaque between the two cannons it mentions finding the property in 1887.
