Bienal en Tailandia, dia 13 , estuvimos en Thapalm Nacional Park, viendo un endemismo: Corypha lecomtei Becc.

Las Coryphas impresionan siempre, pero verlas aquí, en su sitio y muchas juntas es un placer especial que jamás encuentras en un jardín botánico, ¡¡Impresionante!!

Como podéis ver hay muchas, están perfectamente vegetadas, y en distintos estadios vitales, jóvenes, adultas, en floracion y muertas tras la floración

Excellent Photos it is hard to really appreciate the scale of these till you are next to them.

I did not get any seed here but I did get a Bow made from the petioles of these that the park rangers make and were willing to part with for some Bhat. Now i am teaching my 6 yr. old son how to shoot it. Priceless
