All beautiful variegated plants. Thanks for sharing. I don't collect variegated plants. But I purchased a Jeff Marcus variety Dypsis Heteromorpha a couple of years ago and it opened a few leafs that look to have a bit of variegation. Not much, but it will still be interesting to see how it develops.

I found this variegated little Parlor Palm in a pot with a bunch of regular plants.  Can I expect more variegated leaves? Actually, the new leaves from this plantlet are not variegated.

Sadly, this plant died. I knew parlor palm doesn't like reporting but I didn't think it would be this fragile.

Variegated Sabal palmetto

My sabal lisa does the same. I thought it was nutrient deficiency but i have fed it everything and it still retains this characteristic. Maybe once i plant it in the ground I'll know for sure.

On my biggest phoenix roebelenii I found only on one frond this variegation. Is on one of the older fronds now and it didn't happen again.

Check out this Dimond in the ruff that I stumbled across! Zamia furfuracea varigated randomly growing in an over grown landscape.

Some old previously posted pics of some foxtail seedlings... I think the cause of the coloring, was that I buried the seedlings with fresh soil, and they grew through the soil into the light... Multiple emergence into the sunlight...

My three amigos.  The two on the right are Polaroids; they start green and eventually the yellow appears.  The one on the left is always white-ish on emergence, even the rachis!  Must have shade, of course, in Arizona.

My two variegated Needle Palms.  The bigger one on the right only produces about 1/2-2/3 variegated leaves, but the smaller one is all variegated leaves.

Not mine (yet), but a small Chamaerops humilis with the “splash type” variegation.  It’s subtle on newer leaves, but gets more pronounced with time.

I had two variegated Trachycarpus fortunei with little yellow stripes on leaves and petioles; beautiful! One disadvantage, those yellow stripes turn brown as soon as frost hits the palm. Unfortunately, I lost the palms by severe frost some years ago.

What a beautiful plant! Do you ever sell the seedlings? Or even trade them?

Do you sell any seeds or seedlings? I’ve been looking for a variegated cardboard palm for years and that’s the nicest one I’ve ever seen!!! 🤩

Wow! Those are so incredibly beautiful! I have been looking for one for quite a while and I haven’t even been able to find any pictures online either so thank you for posting pictures! Do you by chance know where to get more? I’d love to add one to my collection

Not offhand, no.  Mine are producing seeds now, so maybe I will get a few seedlings to come up variegated, but I'm not holding my breath.

At the moment I have planted 300 seeds and only have 2 with healthy variegation.  I am in the works to acquire the mother plant, if or when it produces another round of seeds I will let you know.

Oh that’s a bummer! Well hopefully you can get the mother plant 🤞 does it produce pups or is it more of a single stem? I’m planning a trip to Florida soon so if you haven’t acquired it by then would you maybe consider sharing the location so I can see this unicorn in person?

Only 2 solid varigated seedlings out of 300. (Both accounted for) Mother plant took a direct hit from hurricane Ian so I'm not sure how long the recoverywill be. Fingers crossed for some more successful seedlings.
