Bob,

This should be another great event at Rob's amazing garden.

It's been well over 10 years since I've been to the Besse Garden. I'm looking forward to a return visit.

It will be a real treat to see the Besse's garden. It is ~ 40 years in the making, located in an exclusive area on Sarasota Bay. A 1.5 acre garden situated under mature Oaks with many mature Cycads & Palms. The Besse's were friends with Dr. Young in Tampa. This is a tour not to be missed. Her neighbor will open his garden up to us, on the walk back to our cars. His garden is relatively young, but is suppose to have some good specimens. He is located closer to the Phoenix Bar, where we will be parking. Rob has told me he has added many different palms to his garden, since last winters freeze. It will be great to explore his garden again. As always, he is a very gracious host & puts out a good spread during CFPACS events. I will be bringing some choice items for the auction & sale. Hopefully everyone can make it.

Looking forward to seeing the locals this weekend! I've never seen the Besse's garden and am looking forward to seeing such a mature garden!

I was hoping to drive down with my wife but looks like she won't be able to go. Is there a group formed yet from Orlando, or is anyone interested in putting together a car pool?
