I think I know the issue John and Bruno. I work off a laptop where my web connection can stutter and sometimes it freezes up immediately after you hit the "post" button, giving you the impression the posting failed but ah ha, no no Nannette, it went through you just can't confirm in a hurry so you hit "post" button a second time, maybe a third, and there layeth the reason. In my howdown opinion.

That's probably not far from the truth, Wal. I think it's related to uploading photos, connection speed, and as you say, trying to rush posts through.

Wal's on to it. When a post appears to have failed, it is always better to just open another browser window and check your post. In most cases it will be there, so no need to hit post again. If it's not, then try a second click. But I've never experienced a double post with only one click.
