epicure3
Nice series of storms moving onshore over California w/ occasional heavy showers this weekend. So far no mudslides but hillsides are close to saturation in burn areas. Really need this rain. By Christmas the hillsides will be lush in green grasses. That is a pretty site for sure. Driving from SD to LA through Camp Pendleton, the sharp coastal low mountains (or large hills) look more like something from Tahiti soon after large rains. Just a vibrant green that we rarely see here.
