We got very little up here......but every drop counts. However, the wind kicked up and dried everything out. I may have to water some time this week.

My low this morning is reading 35.5F, but ice on the windshield of a car parked in my driveway and the roof tops are white with frost. This is my coldest night yet this season, but nothing below freezing yet. The forcast for the rest of the week is more of the same. Expected high today is 70F under clear skys. Seems to me that Nov. has been cooler than normal in N. Calif. Most days have been in the mid to upper 60's and only 3 or 4 in the 70's. As long as the high pressure hangs over us, I guess it will remain cool.

Dick - Your weather usually hits us the next day, and it looks like I'm due to see 38F tomorrow. As long as there's any moisture at all I'm not too worried, as our worst lows are usually bone dry. This morning's low was 44F.

It looks like the closest personal weather station to me (Jeffries Ranch) received 0.52" of rain on Saturday, while the Oceanside Airport received 0.12", and neighboring Vista 0.25".

Looks like San Diego county picked up more rain than LA. I was up in northern Sacramento valley for holiday weekend & it rained overnight in Chico. My rain gauge only recorded 0.02. A major pattern shift could occur next week with good rainfall for SoCal.

Haven't calculated November data. Hardly any rain w/ max temps 70/ 80's & minimums 50's w/ some 60's.

May all go well with you guys going through the northern winter. It's never nice going into the winter months.

Best regards

Tyrone

Tyrone,

Thanks for your wishes.

As I have said before, I hate winter....so far, my low has been 39 but coolness is expected. Rain possibly this weekend.
