I smashed my thumb very badly in the machine shop on Wed, so I can't type well - probably for a couple weeks. Mostly pics with few words to follow...

WOW!!!!! I had no idea you went to Lord Howe Island too! I am very excited to see the upcoming photos! After Hedyscepe, I'm guessing Lepidorrhachis will be next! The photos so far look amazing!! Post #12 looks absolutely harrowing... I'd love to do something like that!

I'm always up for learning new things!

What an incredible place. A true paradise!

Jack,

What an amazing place! Next time I visit Austalia, a sidetrip to Lord Howe Island with a hike up Mt. Gower will be a must! :)

I have a new desktop background, thanks to you Mr. Sayer! It's eye-poppin' beautiful there.

Jack:

What are some generalities of Lord Howe Island's climate? Is it in the tropical storm track or are waters colder than what hurricanes need to "nourish" themselves? I know next to nothing about Australia's eastern island flank. Certainly is photographically prime!! Are there numerous communities on the island or is condominium development minimal?

No more questions! I know that you are still tired! :winkie:

I love you, man!
