Urban Rainforest Palms,Cycads and Exotics. Were in San Diego Ca. about 5 miles from the beach on Tecolote canyon. It seems to be an ideal growing climate with moderate temps. and very little frost. Vacation Rental in Leilani Estates, big island Hi PM me if interested in staying there.

Another nice Blue one I collected. The seedlings in 1gals. are the D. baronii from Vakona Lodge. The dark purple trunk one. I am very excited about these.

Nice Ron.

That plant really looks like something I got from peter Balasky called Dypsis 'Tampolo Tall'. Upright leaves, red emergent, divides profusely.

Zone 10a at best after 2007 AND 2013, on SW facing hill, 1 1/2 miles from coast in Oceanside, CA. 30-98 degrees, and 45-80deg. about 95% of the time.

I guess I really need to head down to San Diego. And plan on bringing back a few palms..

That "blue" D. baronii is amazing. What is the palm in the first pic in the first post? (Pardon my Dypsis ignorance.)

I should be there in 20 minutes :blink: ( If I can hitch a ride in the PRA mobile with lights and sirens blaring) :lol: otherwise I'll see ya in about a month when I get my bailout money :lol: . I'm going to Washington representing the "Rainforest protectoret society of America" It should work Huh? Seriously though. Your plants are AWESOME :drool: and yours IS the next nursery I'm going to!
