Ride a Zip Line

IPS member Gene Beenders took this video as he clipped on and rode the zip line across the Pozo Azul river in Costa Rica. For those who did it, this will bring back memories. For those who haven't done it, this should convince you not to pass up the opportunity.

John,

Thanks for the info. Please tell me what is happening when you click on the links. If you are using IE the videos have to download completely before they can play. Firefox or Mac browsers don't have that problem.

Keep in mind we don't do daylight savings here... oh, wait, I guess I shouldn't rule out the possibility that maybe you time traveled one hour into the future :hmm:

It is a very nice video and really shows what the last leg of the zip-line course was like going over the river. I witnessed a few people recording video on their way down and I was hoping one video would surface. The link worked fine for me, I right-clicked on the high quality link and saved it to my computer (just so I can watch it over again and show it to people). It is a large file, 224 MB so make sure you have room for it. If you watch the video, towards the end of the run you can see myself and the rest of my group watching Gene and others come on down. My group was the second to do the zip-line that day and we just about to get our gear. Here is a photo of Gene as he was making the video.
