I sowed some seeds (I have ordered from RPS) the 31st of January of this year. I found a seed germinating the 26th of February, today I decided to take a photo of it to share it here. Also, I checked the containers today an one more germinated.

The first one was germinated in a moist towel-paper inside a Ziploc plastic container to keep moisture from drying. This second one was germinated in a swampy mix of soil inside a Ziploc plastic container.

Here is a picture of the first seedling:

Luis Diego, I missed this post before. Congratulations! That was very fast germination. Do you have a first leaf yet?

I almost ordered seeds, but changed my mind at the last minute and picked something else. That's one SPINY palm!

UPDATE: One of the 2 Eleiodoxa has died. I still have hope for the other one to survive. I think I over-watered it, because I read they grow in swampy areas in Borneo and Sumatra and maybe the seedling was not ready to take that amount of water. I have reduced the watering to the 2nd one.
