I picked this palm up from SW Florida's well known Geri and David Prall.  They did not want the palm as it had been planted in an they were rearranging.

The palm stressed under the less than ideal move I put it through.  I thought it was a goner.

I sawed the head off chain saw style until I saw healthy tissue.  This was quite a bit off the top.

Here is a picture 4 months later.  It is pushing a really nice frond and an inflorescence.

Rob,

   Excellent! Just goes to show, how tough palms can be sometimes. I'm sure your really happy, that it's going to make it. Give it a good home. Show us a pic. a few months later after it's leafed out.
