Nice sized one at work , flowering now .

Has a very thin base , so cleaned up around it so I could get a good pic of it . Trunk is over 2m tall .

Here is a fairly recent picture of mine. I am just waiting for trunking. The base is absolutely huge in terms of diameter.

Dear guys  :)

all these years i had been a fan of bottle palms,

psuedo phoneix(dommenican republic palm),

triangle palm but after seeing this spindle palm.

i have taken a liking for this Sp. too.

But would prefer to grow it in huge containers,

since when they grow tall they appear less

attractive.
