I picked up this DVD from Target (pronounced Tar-zhey) a couple of weeks ago on a whim.  It was called "Black Sheep" I think and was filmed on a tiny budget in New Zealand.  It was about genetically alterred sheep who turn out to be ferociously carniverous and on top of that, if they merely bite you but don't eat you, you turn into a carnivorous sheep too.  It was so bad it was good.  Of course the whole thing was meant to be tongue in cheek so it was meant to be bad.  Great way to spend an insomniac night.

Planet Terror had to be one of my favorite worst movies ever...  But then again, any movie with an amputee hottie (the zombies ate her leg) hobbling around on one leg and an automatic weapon has to be a good flick.

In recent times, Dreamgirls from 2006 was terrible, too painful to watch all the way through in fact.

From earlier, that one about the lawnmowers killing people at the golf course, Jaws 3 and way back, killer tomatoes was a toughie to sit through.

I was an usher in a movie theater in 1976-1977.  Saw some real clinkers in there.

"Wilderness Family"

And, TV is the wilderness of the naked and the dead.

"The Prince of Space"

And, "The Evil that Men Do" includes making that movie, with Charles Bronson.

"Witchmaster General" or "Conqueror Worm" (same movie) with Vincent Price.

You've never heard of the above?  Good!  It means you didn't have to see them.

Of course, it was impossible not to hear about "Mission Impossible" with Tom Cruise.  Dog poop up the nose, anyone?

Tom, bubbula, listen, simply screaming is NOT emoting.  Explosion after explosion gets BORING, even if you're eight.  (I watched a couple of brats yawn!)  Get yourself some people who can give you constructive criticism, not just say "Yes Majesty" to your every whim.  DON'T direct yourself!

Egad, time to stop, the denizens of the Dark Tower are wondering what's with all the noises I'm making. . . . .

In general, he did.  He had that everyman quality to him.

For a time, he was one of the richest actors in Hollywood.

But, "Evil that Men Do" was, well, UGH . . . .

your list seems to be the best of the worst_i fully agree with that first list..

but have any of you seen the movie the butch casidy & the sundance kid ! I think it has won some academy awards & rated very high in AFI top 100 movies..

3 times i tried to see it,first time i feel asleep the following day

i tried but felt very borring and the 3 time i saw,i had serious doubt in classic movie ratings given by AFI for english movies..

the worst of the worst of american western movies i have ever seen in my life !

Charles Bronson is one of my heros.

I think there is a Death Wish marathon this weekend on AMC (It might have already played, unfortunately).

Charles Bronson would use Chuck Norris as a footrest.

Pretty rare that I make to a movie theatre these days - can't help you there Gina.

I did see the last Bourne flick in the theatres, though.

My bad movie nomination is "Open Water: Adrift".

Normally, I would never watch one of these movies. My wife and I were flipping through the channels a while back. I jokingly said, "Oh, I have been waiting for this to make it to cable" and stopped at this movie and pretended to be interested. It was one of those movies that is so bad, you can't stop watching. Ended up losing brain cells sitting through the whole thing.

"lost in translation" is a movie you either love or hate.i think the pace is too slow for most people, but thats part of what i liked about it.there is some great comedy in it,for

instance when the shall we say more "mature" japanese call girl comes to bill murrays room & says "lip my stockings!" or when bill murray is on the exercise bike & its going way too fast.

"Charlie's Angels" is another example. The movies are truly bad, while the series are classic.

I watched "The Specialist" last night. One bad flick.

"Fair Game" Cindy Crawford and one of the Baldwin brothers.

"Das Boot". The funnoest thing was when the sub crew surfaced the vessel in a heavy storm and they popped their heads through the hatches, and even the strong wind wasn't able to put in motion their foul weather gear and their  hats.

so intense & gripping that i've watched it over & over & over.probably one of the BEST WWII films ever not to mention the fact that you rarely see films from the losers point of view when it comes to war flicks.

So I probably have to give "Das Boot" another chance because after I saw the scene I described above, I stopped watching it. So, off to the video rental, and  I will try to re assess my criticism.

I am surprised no one mentioned "The Blair Witch Project"  That has got to be the very worst movie ever made!  Stupid, stupid, stupid!

And I like Star Trek - tv shows and movies.  But I am a big sci-fi fan.

Anything by Kurosawa. Have you seen "Seven Samurai"?

"The Last Emperor"

If you have IFC (International Film Channel), there are great movies shown there.

"A Year Of Living Dangerously". You and Angela should really like this one (filmed in Indonesia).

Paul and I agree on something.....Das Boot...I must have seen it 20 times. Great movie.

The only movie I've walked out on was Kingdom of Heaven.

I bought the Lost in Translation DVD based on the hype and Oscar noms. My wife and I turned it off half way through and went to bed. I ended up giving it to my sister, who loved it...go figger.
