When I was 20 years old and working at a country club on Miami Beach, I choffered the young wife of a tobacco tycoon, one of the richest men in the USA at the time. I'm sure they are both dead now, but she was common as dirt and smoked cigaretts all the way to Palm Beach and she had a foul mouth. She even made me blush, and that's hard to do. It was the only time I got to see the grounds of the Breakers. Snazzy place.

Dick, I am guessing that it was either La Gorce or Indian Creek. Indian Creek is one great golf course.(William Flynn/design)Great view of the Downtown Miami. Those were halycon days in Miami.

Unfortunately, having money does not guarantee class. In fact, many times just the opposite.

What you look for is what is looking

Well, down he'uh in the genteel south, one might say that depends on whether you are a "blue blood" or "nouveau riche"?

Oh, and I am neither.

Those are fantastic pics, Dave. I love that wall of D. Lutescens. I wonder why nobody ever does that here. Of course it would take about a billion years and tons of water to make it to that size. BTW, I'd love to hear some more RN impersonations. He was my favorite President, next to President Liddy.
