"Feral" Roystoneas, Ft. Lauderdale

I'm new the forum, so forgive me for over-zealous posting.

This is a naturalized community of Royal palms in Easterlin Park, directly across the perimeter canal from my condo complex. The park preserves a cypress wetland.

what a change from Gainesville! Whenever I drive down there I get envious of how freeze-free their climate is, and how somewhere so close can have so many more plants!
