OK,

at approximately 6:45 pm, my neighborhood was hit hard by a 50-60mph wind in advance of a very active monsoon. When the rain subsided, I walked through the palm garden and discovered all my queen palm spears hunched over at an angle. They all broke in the wind close to the crown. Luckily, my wodyetias were all fine.

:(

Not sure how I could have done anything to help that one!

Strong winds suck.  They've caused, by far, the most damage to my palms.  At least the queens should grow out of it quickly.
