What min. temp will this palm take?  I've read 30 deg. F (from Palms for SoCal) and -4 deg. C from a NZ source.  Makes a big difference.  Thanks..

-4C (24.8F) seems impossible to me for this plant.

Geonoma have such thin leaves.

Last year mine saw 37F in the greenhouse.

I think Matt in SD's saw 33F outside.  His plant looks great, I don't think it had any damage.  I don't know of any others around.

Rusty has one under canopy and saw the high 30's. He made an intresting observation, he felt it grew better in colder weather than summer.

I have definitely heard the same thing.  They grow very well in the bay area fog belt.  But, I don't know what sort of cold they can take.  I'm guessing closer to 30 deg. F than 25, but I'm clueless.
