Just thought I'd get started with this thread.  There will be lots of palms and a lot of other plants too.

Impressive bromeliad looks like a Tillandsia but its an Alocasia Odorata I think

What kind of shrub is this?  Kinda looks like a Euphorbia somewhat.

Cycad- an encephalartos probably but I was not able to get the name. I came in at 3:00 pm so I only had 2 hours to see the place that day  and I had 79 acres more to cover

Yes there are palm in Fairchilds.

Kerriodoxa Elegans.

Petioles of the Kerriodoxa are really dark - almost black.

More Bromeliad.  This is a Neoregelia.  Am not sure of the exact variety but this is definitely a hybrid.

Nice , the large shrub/ small tree in pics in post 10 and 11, is Euphorbia punicea from the Island of Jamaica, hard to find plant at any size.

I'm not sure if this is what they refer to as the Ampitheater.  There were a lot of Coccothrinax here

One think I liek about fairchilds is that you see for yourself how a particular palm grows and in what conditions they thrive - or not
