Geoff is a great guy and knows what will grow in Cal. better than anyone. If you live in Cal. and don't know about the Palms for So Cal Handbook, you are missing out on the source for what you can and can not grow. And no, I have never seen him without a camera.

Incidentally, I have pretty much found that if Geoff says it will or will not grow it California, it will or will not grow in the Mediterranean region!

I can confirm it! Everything PalmBob suggests about palms in California has an astonishing accuracy also in the remote Greece! EVERYTHING EVEN THE INFORMATION ABOUT A TYPICAL PALM GROWER'S HABITS! All above is a proof how much personally and not merely through staff or other professionals he is involved to the hobby!

I never made the connection between Geoff and Palm Bob. wow. I use his plant files all the time as a reference/learning tool for any particular palm species I'm either looking to buy or am already trying to grow. BIG HELP as a newbie in the palm world.
