Halloween Joke

DoomsDave

Recommended Posts

Howdyall:

Sitting in traffic on the Sexy Freeway, and Palmazon shared the following joke, as told to him by Fred:

"Why do ghouls and demons date?"

"'Cause demons are a ghoul's best friend!"

I Like it!

Happy Halloween!

This Halloween was such a bust for us.

We didn't do ANYTHING.

My M-I-L (in Dallas) had a stroke some months ago and has been recovering and in rehab and all for a bit, but it looks like this marks the beginning of the end for her. She is extremely frail and not progressing.

So, last weekend, the "tribal sticks" were sent out to the whole family tribe (that's an obscure reference to the way that the Chickasha Indian people used to summon all the widespread tribal groups to Pow Wow, my husband's family is Native American) and we all converged on the family compound at Lake Eufala in Oklahoma so that everyone from far and wide could have at least one last earthly visit with my MIL in case she decides to leave Planet Earth in the very near future.

As it happened, the two big blowout Halloween parties we were to attend were the same weekend. SO, we missed them, but for a good cause.

But I wore my fully functional custom fit fangs all day yesterday, just being rebellious....

I like your joke, D.

Having never met Palmazon, I can only imagine the joke delivered by a guy in a gorilla costume riding shotgun in Dave's Nova. That's actually funny without the punchline!

Metalfan - I used to live in Texas, and would drive by Lake Eufala everytime I went home to Missouri to visit family. My running joke to my wife as we drove by it was "I hope-a you don't-a-fall-a in-a-Lake-a-Eufala".

Gina,

Do they still do the Freakers Ball at UF?  That was an eye opener for this little Freahman all those years ago.

Well, that's not too far off, though Danny is nowhere near as hirstute as his avatar alter ego.

And, yeah, the No-Va has been the scene of much hilarity.

Maybe too much . . .
