DSCN5556.jpgThis morning we made the supreme sacrifice and woke up at 7am after partying too long last night, and hauled ourselves down to the raceline for the Trick or Trot fun run.

It was overcast, and a balmy 68F. There were over 170 runners! Kyle showed up at the last minute and I ran most of the way with him, but missed getting a photo.

Here is me as "mummy girl" (a hung over mummy girl) and here is my friend Val as "princess girl".

It was fun and for a good cause. My husband wants to go as Devo next year, LOL

If it was So Cal, I'm sure there would be a washingtonia seedling somewhere in the green at your feet there. :P

Zone 10a at best after 2007 AND 2013, on SW facing hill, 1 1/2 miles from coast in Oceanside, CA. 30-98 degrees, and 45-80deg. about 95% of the time.

You should have taken the picture in the opposite direction. That's where you would have seen NE Florida's only 30 foot tall Atlantic Tall cocos. Damn!!! C'mon Kyle, you should have directed them the right way.
