Weather.com shows record highs/lows for most US towns and cities, but I guess it depends how small the town is.  Is there not a site for your government's meteorology dept., that may have what you want.

Hi Kate,

Check the NWS Shreveport or Baton Rouge sites.  There should be a link to historical climate.  I believe this is a standard feature for NWS websites.
