Delhi palms

Quick business trip, don't have time to explore unfortunately.

I am humbled by how little I know of palms outside of my small, localized world.

These look like Washingtonia but this seems the wrong climate, plus I don't know if they grow Washies in Asia.  So my next best guess is Livistona chinensis... how pitifully little I know of palms...

Not in Delhi, but, Phoenix sylvestris in the mountains.  Approx 5000 ft ASL

I believe this to be Rhesus macaque, they're entertaining.  They look similar to the Macaques in Thailand but are a different genus.

Appears to be some kind of Adiantum.

I didn't realize there are Ficus native to Asia, I thought they were all Mediterannean/Eurasian.   No idea what species, evidently there are several.

Bad photo but there are elephant ears up on the hillside.  They drop downward like Colocasia but the leaf texture looks like Alocasia.  They seem to grow all over randomly up here in the mountains.  There's also a nice weeping willow.

I cannot figure these out.  I thought they were dwarf Colocasia but I think the leaves are too thick and waxy.  Perhaps a Philodendron or Remusatia.  They grow randomly allover the pine forests, these are at around 4000' ASL. They grow in-ground, epiphytically, and rupicolously... if that's a word.

And some nice Begonias, and some nice looking vine I have not been able to identify.  Same habitat. Random objects for scale.

I also noticed that the juvenile form of (Sauromatum?) Looks quite different, almost like some more common Arum.

A couple miles north from earlier, on the northern face of a ridge. There were lots of Phoenix on the south face but virtually non on the north face.

This thread is about to have to move to the tropical looking plants- other than palms subforum.  Sorry. I love tropical looking plants and enjoy documenting them when I find them especially on habitat which I don't normally get to do.
