My favorite Archontophoenix by far (Archontophoenix purpurea).  I grew these from seed.  Looks like all three will be in flower simultaneously this summer.

Those are sweet.  I have one here in Florida but has only flashed some purple once.  Mine is about 5 years old.

How cold/leaf hardy do they compare to other crownshaft palms their size?

Beautiful plants Matt! Love the way Kings look in a trio.  Having all three at once showing off the purple is a huge plus!  Reminds me a bit of the trio at Steve's old place in Clairemont.

Given that we have become so accustom to the appearance of their siblings the A cunninghamiana, these strike a chord of difference which is naturally appealing.  I'm sure that had A purpurea been the dominant planting, we might have a different perspective.  Beautifully grown examples of the species.  I never grew them myself, but my neighbor across the street in Carlsbad bought a large boxed double from Rancho Soledad in the mid 90's and they definitely stood out compared to the A cunninghamiana's the rest of the neighbors were planting at the time (including me).   Vive la différence!

Funny you mention that because that’s the palm I got the seeds off of. Steve’s front yard purple kings were the best I’d ever seen so I waited for his seeds.

I have a couple as well, the most problem prone kings for FL and they never really show much.
