I was looking for a way to get accurate light measurements for fun and for just nerding out on palms . I found these pretty cool data loggers from Onset/HOBO They have some expensive serious stuff but they have these little pendant loggers that you can just bluetooth to your phone as well. The little device can log once a minute for 37 days or so. It exports to .csv .xcel or .png. I got a light and temp pendant MX2202. $80 isn’t cheap but not too terrible either. This data is for a B. condopanna living under a banana plant. I’m logging data for a C. nucele this week to see how much light its taking.
