foxtail palm questions

I have a foxtail palm that I planted some weeks ago, it has two spears that have been growing slowly. but I also noticed that the fronds had dropped a bit. Does that mean the palm is making space for the new frond or is it because of the transplant?

Yep, that would be why the fronds are sagging some. Looks like that spear will open up right onto the wall.
