They got so out of control last year after the freeze and extra sun. Nothing kills texas weeds forever. Killing a Bermuda grass area for 20 years I think

I tried several varieties. The only one that reliably comes back from winter is the  ‘Angustata’ variety (flowers smaller and leaves are not as broad).
