NWpalms@206 439 Report post Posted May 9 Noted some differences between my Santa Catarina Queens and Uruguay Queens. To start the color (different source so don’t read too much into that maybe nutrients) SCQ darker deeper green while UQ is more neon, bright. SCQ has long, thinner, droopy, arching leafs with not much ridges, UQ is erect shorter leaves and has prominent ridges much stiffer to the touch. And the trunk, and petioles on the SCQ are clean and green just a ridge of the fibrous papery edge. UQ are very much more of the fibrous material, it’s basically covering the trunk. They are clearly different almost in every way, not clue as to what this means but I took these notes and thought I’d share.
