A couple " Raise a glass to celebrate " articles today..   As more places continue to make sure worthless lawns will get torn out, ..and hauled away..  :greenthumb::greenthumb:

Nice to see progress happening on the matter. :greenthumb:
On a side note - sod tends to compost rather quickly. I definitely didn’t haul any away.

Utah recently made it illegal for an HOA or city ordinance to restrict water-wise landscaping, and a turf ‘by back’ program is being initiated.

I just removed another 40% of my remaining front lawn. Getting smaller and smaller. It’s such a PITA to try and keep looking good In summer. Usually starts looking bad end of May and doesn’t really green up until the second half of October.

All new Mediterranean plants included in the extended gardens. The dark brown mulched area is all new.   These gardens are bigger than they look. Took me about 40 hours to do both with removal of grass, grading, new soil and mulch and of course the plants. Sod is under all this as I like to recycle in place.
