Dypsis pilulifera

A couple of days ago I was looking in my green house and found a 1 gal Dypsis pilulifera hiding under a big fern.  LOL  I bought this almost a year ago and some how didn't get it into the ground.  So I needed to get going.  At first I was gonna put it on this terraced hill side that I've been working on.

Then I got to think that this magnificent palm needed to be placed where it can easily show off it's crownshaft.  So I got to work clearing along a major path.  Here are before views in both directions.

And then the same two views w/the "baby" palm.  I hope this speeds up not that it's in the ground and I live long enough to see the color.  LOL

And last but not least the PALM.  Tiny little thing from 1 gal pot.687720459_Dypsispilulifera20220502_141110(2).thumb.jpg.6c55228892811289b64f557f6f6dffd0.jpg

These grow at a good pace once settled in. They do like a little sun though. Ive found these very hardy and adaptable as well as drought tolerant, one of my biggest ones was transplanted from my old house and is in a far corner with minimal irrigation but still growing. Should be a good grower for you, I know I added several more into the landscape due to how happy I was with it.
