I can ID the guy with the camera, but pretty clueless about the palms. Sorry! Where were the photos taken?

Hello Kim

Pictures taken at Minamurra rain forest NSW, the southern most sub tropical rainforest in Australia.

Pictures taken last week.

The young leaves are from  Livistona Australis that grows naturally there.

You never know where an IPS director shows up

Still to decide, watching Covid.

Currently  moving Ian and Norma Edwards palms and cycads to Wollongong Botanic gardens with 7 truckloads of other plants.

They bequeathed me the garden plants to disperse on there behalf after they passed away.

They used to attend the Biennials in the 80's and 90' and many other palm adventures.

They introduced many species to Australia and shared the species with many of us..

They are missed

I know they are Bangalow palms but boy they look a lot like Euterpe edulis in that pic. 

Millbrook, "Kinjarling" Noongar word meaning "Place of Rain", Rainbow Coast, Western Australia 35S. Warm temperate. Csb Koeppen Climate classification. Cool nights all year round.
