Licuala are generally swamp dwellers, I managed to kill a Grandis by letting it dry out for ~2 weeks in a heatwave.  My palms are all outdoors, and I have no experience trying to grow Licuala indoors.  Hopefully someone else here can offer some suggestions.  Can you let us know how long you've had it, your watering schedule, and what kind of soil it's potted in?  The soil is critical on indoor palms, a super loose bark-based mix drys out faster and requires more consistent watering, and a dense organic mix can get "mucky" if you water it too often.
