Time to trunk cut?

I think that a significant number of palms could have come back from Palmagaeddon if more were trunk cut afterwards

Good job of trunk cutting . 

I may have been able to  save one of my large Sabal palmettos ( Shaq )  with a quick trunk cut . The other one ( Curly )  had some oozing from the lower trunk so that one was  probably was a goner . I think I didn't trunk cut them till well into April . They would've wanted to get cut in early to mid March I suspect .

Shaq is on the left and Curly near the ladder . On the far left is my frond damaged Birmingham that laughed at that 2018 cold snap .
