Trachycarpus tesan.  Just another thread to document growth.  Seeds from Garry tsen- coldplant.  In (Walmart brand) Promix, not soaked, skin on, room temp,, in <4 weeks they're pushing radicals.  Planted 06Mar22.  Lots more are pushing, as I was digging around, but I didn't want to disturb them too much. Here you can see four that were near the top.

Minor mold but it doesn't seem to bother anything.  Pick it out by hand and hit with H2O2.

Is that Pro-Mix the one that comes in a cube?

If so- it is surprising that WM sells it because its pretty good

soil to make a nice mixture for you potted plants....it also does'nt

have all the Fert and BS that so many of these other bagged soils have...I like it.

@Jimhardy it does come in a cube, but different packaging than the Promix that Home Depot carries.  I bought it because it had the same name as Promix 4 which Joe Clemente swears by, and also said "micorrhizal inoculum" which to my caveman brain, means beneficial micronutrients.

The media composition seems much better than any other commercial potting soil I've seen.
