Pure Wash filifera and Cycas taitungensis x revoluta, LOCAL ONLY in Katy/Houston or College Station

These were passed on to me by a local collector and need a good home! The filifera seed was personally collected in habitat at Anzo Borrego Desert State Park.

The Cycas hybrid should be like a sago palm on steroids with multiple flushes year and larger/more robusta overall.

I need to figure out a day off to come get these. Can I meet you in College Station? I'm in Huntsville.

I would be interested in Filifera, although it may be a couple weeks until I travel back to Houston

Trying to offload these ASAP,  the filifera is super root bound. Thanks

I can't tell from the pics, do you have multiples of each?  I'd definitely be interested in one of each if they aren't spoken for.

I have one of each, they are still available unless @Meangreen94z or @JohnAndSancho can confirm pickup within the next two weeks or so. I'd rather not hold them for much longer.

If someone gets them first, that’s fine, and understandable. I have a number of extra seedlings I can trade if interested. I’m always looking for pure Filifera specimen that will hopefully survive the Austin winters long term

Totally cool if someone gets there sooner than me. In all honesty my space is limited

Sorry, I had figured somebody snapped this up. If you shift between Katy and CS, you wouldn’t by chance be going to John Fairey Garden this Saturday?

I can bring you a few freebies myself

Are any of these left?

Yes, please take them. The cycad is fine but the filifera is on its last legs but not dead yet

Will even throw in a king palm seedling if you pick them up

I have a house in College Station, just saying. Sure I can find a nice place for them. I was unable to find the native stand of filifera there on google maps.

I live in College Station, just saying.

I offered them to you in PM (RE: CIDP) back in Feb, you didn't respond. The filifera is a goner. I can drop off the cycad Monday if you want it.
