Hey Guys, I know Christmas Palms are VERY difficult to acclimate from going indoor to outdoor. Could the same be said for Pygmy's?

Thanks a lot :D

Pygmies will burn if you put them in full sun after a season inside, but part day, non midday sun should be okay. Just put them in full shade for a couple of weeks if you have doubts, but they are not the worst burners.  My Christmas goes from LED in the basement to rear deck, north side, under a patio umbrella, but still some early morning sun, not an issue.

"I think it depends on what the indoor conditions are lighting wise."

Very hard to have the same intensity of light inside, as outside.

One of the things about indoor vs. outdoor light is that the glass in windows absorbs almost all of UVB rays so even if the plant is in a window that gets full mid day sun the plant isn't accustomed to the UVB rays. This is the same reason people don't get a sun burn in a greenhouse.
