What happened to San Diego Zoo coconut palm

Patrick Sheehan

Recommended Posts

I recently found this picture on the web that was taken 14 years ago at the San Diego zoo.  I don't know what has happened to it, was it destroyed when they remodeled much of the zoo in around 2015? If it miraculously is still alive where might I find it?

I almost left my coco until too late this winter,  but I brought it inside quickly and put a heat lamp on it and it appears to be recovering quickly. That was too close of a call! :bemused:
