Chester B 3,119 Report post Posted January 17 (edited) I received a bunch of Sabal palmetto seedlings a while back from a fellow PT'r and now that I've had them for a while I'm noticing two different phenotypes. The first is short and chunky, with no visible petioles and short fronds, the other is a taller version with long fronds and long petioles. Grown side by side with no difference in care/culture. It's a 50/50 split among the seedlings. Is this typical? At this point I'm assuming in time they will all look the same, but wanted to get some feedback from people in their native range. One of each for comparison. Edited January 17 by Chester B 2

Just one or two strap leaves each at the time.
