NWpalms@206 385 Report post Posted January 9 Have a young T. Fortunei that didn’t appreciate being turned into a 30gal ice block during our event. Since thawing the fronds absolutely fried, crispy and hard. The tips of the older spears are crispy but the bases, and newest spear still lush. Tugged spears and they’re solid, the question is are these fronds of any use now, or can I trim it back to just spears and let it re crown?
Trustandi 285 Report post Posted January 9 I would keep the ones that still green. The palm still could take the energy the damaged fronds.
