Disease on Howea. HELP!

Hi All.

I bought a Howea forsteriana 2 and half weeks ago.  I moved it to another pot 1 week ago. And 3 days leaves started to fade.

There were some very small white dots (not more than 1 mm) at firs, I took them out and I do not have the new one now.

What is this disease on my Howea forsteriana?

What should I do to save it?

This looks to me like a water-balance issue, which I associate with fungal disease.  If your soil is too moisture-retaining and not doesn't allow fast flow of water, this may be a cause for repotting with fast-draing soil.

Roots need air for proper water and mineral transfer.

My assumption is that fungus thrives on borders left by uneven water content. Poor drainage plus partial watering creates these fungus-havens.

I am happy if anyone challenges my assumptions so I can learn new, often better information.

Overall I think your palm looks pretty good.
