Bizzie frond opening early

After complementing my bizzie on how well behaved for the first year in the ground it was, I noticed that it's newest spear opened way too early and looks a little yellow. Hoping this is a fluke and not a serious issue. We had one night drop down to 43 but the average low for Nov and Dec thus far has been around 60.  The only thing I've done to it recently was apply a top dressing of mulch around it (less than an inch). It gets watered  once a week unless it rains which isn't much in the winter. Is it something that will just go away when I fertilize in the spring or could it be something more serious?

@Brian M same thing happened to my bizzie sometime in September. Opened up early and had the same coloring as yours. It eventually grew out of it and opened up 4 more fronds after that with no issues. I personally wouldn't worry about it but maybe someone else could chime in. Here's a picture of mine I took a few weeks ago.

In winter my two ~10-15 foot tall Bizzies have done this.  They opened short but kept growing more petiole over the next week or so.  The final length ended up being about 75% of the "summer" fronds, but otherwise was normal.  Hopefully that is what is happening with yours.

This happened to mine in Daytona Beach. It happened after the weather changed (aka rainy/hot to dry/cold). It did not amount to anything negative.

What kind of stones are those?

@NickJames it's a gravel here in AZ called Apache Brown. I believe the size was 1/2".

All 3 of mine typically open up at the same earlier grow point after the first few cold spells. They do tend to be more yellow too. The petiole typically keeps pushing and frond blends to the rest after a while. I wouldn’t worry about it. Probably a sign of palm entering winter dormancy, what I assume.

Nothing to worry about at all. The yellow will turn blue.

I have had this happen before as well.  It started opening when it was still down in the growth point and looked really stupid for two weeks.  Then it was fine after that.

It occurred to me that I had a photo of this.  Last December my backyard one opened up a frond very early, it just took a while to mature into a "normal" frond:

By late January it had turned mostly silver, but was still a bit short:
