Problem with a Phoenix sylvestris

I have a Phoenix sylvestris That was planted about three years ago with others and is struggling. I decided to prune it a bit today and found a few of these on the trunk in between fronds. Culprit or coincidence? Looks like a big white grub worm

You are posting in the wrong forum. Please look for "DISCUSSING PALM TREES WORLDWIDE." That is where you should post. No worries, it is a common error.

That said, I would say, yes, you can try the Seven product. Note that it says "kills by contact." So be sure the grubs come in contact with the product. Be sure to read the instructions and cautions thoroughly before proceeding. Seems basic, but a lot of people don't, then wonder what went wrong... :winkie:
