Planted June 5th  ( It had a fat ball on it weighing 250lbs + , and I needed a few guys to help haul it  to its planting spot  ) :

Here it is today . I guess you could say about 13 months of growing season since being planted  .

( It was a well healed in plant at the nursery  with lots of roots ready to really start growing out  , and it did start  growing immediately after planting . It even flowered  that summer . It was as good as if  it  had been planted  from  a large pot , so it really wasn't like a freshly cut HC Palmetto . I think they said it had been at their nursery for 2 seasons .

My largest Birmingham to its left .

Thanks Allen .

I want to be better about fertilization and watering  next  year   . It really makes a difference ,  but i'm pleased with the growth of the Birmy and the  Palmetto .
