Pindo Issues? Newbie on Diseases

KDubU

Recommended Posts

Inspected my big Pindo today and am noticing some small brown spots on lower frawns and when looking closely noticed more issues.
Started researching and it seems Pindos can get leaf spot, root rot and the skelotonizer can be issues. Any help would be appreciated from the experts.

@KDubU Looks like you are getting hit with leaf skeletonizer.  I get some of this here.  About the best control I have found is trimming the affected frond and burning it.  There are chemical controls available I'm sure, but my knowledge of them isn't good enough to make a recommendation.

Appears @kinzyjr is correct. Discard leaf from property. Systemic insecticide drench are always great IMO, personally I have not experienced this yet…knock on wood. I treat as a preventive (occasionally corrective for citrus leaf miner…a struggle!) on anything not native.
