Hi,

I collect oak / Quercus species from all over the world. Is anyone willing to send me fresh acorns/seeds for my collection?

Kind regards,

Kim

Hi Kim,

I've got what I assume are Quercus fusiformis in my yard and Quercus macrocarpa in common areas of my subdivision.  If you're interested in any of these send me a PM.

Any particular species that you are looking for?

I'm not having a good acorn year for my Quercus fusiformis , but I highly recommend Quercus polymorpha and Quercus muehlenbergii.  A lot of state forestry departments will sell and ship seedlings out of state.

My collection has been growing quite a bit the past years, but mainly with species from Europe and Asia. I am interested in any species, but specifically in species with small leaves.

Depending on where you are located, I may be able to send you some seeds. I visit this tree a few times a year.. It is about 15 miles from my house.

It might be a bit late for some of the CA species. Q lobata, douglasii & wislizeni grow where I live. I might be able to still find wislizeni seed from trees near my house.
